Jeff DeCook
Director of Capital


Jeff is the Director of Capital for Providence Real Estate with the primary responsibilities of capital expenditures across the portfolio. Jeff is responsible for the urgent and efficient planning, specifications, pricing, execution, reporting and completion of all capital expenditures along with the coordination of capital funding requirements with lenders and capital partners. Jeff also oversees the expansion and evaluation of relationships/partnerships with new and existing vendors within the Providence Value Add Programs.


Jeff has over 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry with vast experience in Commercial REO disposition, asset management, contract negotiation and operations management. Prior to joining Providence Management Company, Jeff has held positions at Berkshire Property Management, CB Richard Ellis, and Foresite Realty Partners. During Jeff's career, he has been directly involved in the development, acquisition, disposition, financing, and asset management of more than 20 million square feet of commercial property throughout the Midwest, southeast, and southwest United States. These projects included redevelopment/construction, and build-to-suits with over 40 + lenders, banks, creditors, owners (borrowers), life companies, and private equity firms.

Jeff holds an M.B.A. from the Keller and a B.A. in Communications from the University of Wisconsin and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois.
